Catie and George had the most fun at their Texas engagement session at Grapevine Lake! I love having couples do an outfit change halfway through their session, it allows for two totally different looks and great variety in their session!
Catie and George went with one casual and one elevated outfit for their engagement session at the lake. This is exactly what we recommend for couples sessions! It’s so much fun to dress up and put together a fancy look, but it’s also good to have photos in clothes you wear on a daily basis. Casual outfits allow for posing with tons of movement, fancier outfits allow for more formal and moody posing that makes a statement. I love when clients reach out for outfit advice before their session! It can be super helpful to make sure outfits coordinate well together and with the location we will be shooting at. Styling can be another creative outlet for us photographers!
This fun Texas engagement session included a fur baby, and how cute is he! I love how he literally smiled for the photos. Dogs are family members too and we are always down to include them in your session!
Catie and George are an absolute blast to be around! George is a firefighter and has the best sense of humor, laughter makes for the best images! I already know that their wedding is going to be a full on party! They are getting married at The Brik venue in Fort Worth, which just so happens to be one of our favorite venues to shoot at. The Brik has such great vibes, with exposed brick throughout and an amazing bridal suite. I love the outdoor options this venue has to offer as well, especially the rooftop! A short climb brings you to the top of the venue and a spectacular view of Fort Worth. This is especially gorgeous for sunset bride and groom portraits!
