Aly and Steve had an intimate at home Texas wedding and I loved every minute of documenting their sweet day! Their plans got changed because of the pandemic, and they took it all in stride to still have an amazing wedding day together. Their at home ceremony was so pretty, and I am so glad I convinced them to go to the nearby Adriatica Park for their formal bride and groom portraits after their ceremony! Having laid back couples is a blessing and really allows for us as creatives to do our job to the best of our ability. I love getting to show my couples new locations for portraits! It was a good change of pace so we could have different backgrounds for the portraits and the ceremony.
Adriatica Park is a really good diverse location! Adriatica has wooded areas, water fountains and stone buildings. This park truly has a look for every occasion. For Aly and Steve’s bride and groom portraits we utilized each of those backgrounds. They turned out diverse and gorgeous!
Our couple’s are the best…
Aly and Steve have so much in common and are such an upbeat couple! They both have a passion for weightlifting and bond through working out together- literal couple goals! I really enjoyed photographing the little details that Aly and Steve put into their at home texas wedding. Look how gorgeous Aly’s tea length wedding dress is on her, the tulle bottom is so flattering and has the perfect amount of flow to add movement to photos! And do not even get me started on that A + S neon sign above their florals on the mantel… absolutely stunning! The custom made neon sign is one of the most unique backdrops I have seen recently. The delicate strings of twinkle lights in the ceremony space were so ambient. I’m obsessed with the image of Aly’s dress in front of the twinkle lights!
