We knew when we met with this couple that they were something special. Kayley and Gonzalo had a very specific look and feel that they wanted on their day and it was super important for their photo/video team to understand it and be on the same page with them. We spoke about their vision and gave our ideas and everything just meshed so well together. By the end of the meeting we were laughing and all really excited about their big day! After shooting their engagement session, I was even more excited because they really are so ridiculously cute together! They just make you smile!
Their wedding day at Emerson Venue in Kaufman was a new one for us and we instantly fell in love with this cool venue. It’s very modern and clean and Kayley’s pops of color everywhere really stood out. Her black and white theme with fiesta colors set off the invitations and paper that were on the tables. Modern and fun fonts was such a cool break away from the normal wedding font we always see. I loved all of their little details in the different rooms of the venue and it was the perfect spot for food trucks to set up outside for everyone. It was such a cool laid back feel and we loved every minute of it. Their ceremony was sweet and full of worship and vows that made you cry. We had a beautiful sunset and the toasts had us crying yet again. But the part of the day that will forever stick with me is the dancing! These guys and all of their friends can dance! It was like we were in a Step Up movie! We had so much fun with them…I may have even ended up in the middle of a dance during one of our favorite songs, Swag Surfin’. They treated us like family and we’ll always remember that fun night, dancing and singing outside under the lights. We’re so happy we got to be there to tell your story Kayley and Gonzalo! I know God has amazing things in store for y’all and we love that we get to follow along on your journey!
