Leigha + Joel Wedding | Pocket Ranch

Leigha’s vision and goal for her wedding was that everything look vintage and old, like it all was meant to fit in the space and was always there. Every detail, her dress, the sunburst altar, the greenery and pampas grass, the wooden plates and utensils. It all fit together perfectly and created a natural and peaceful setting. But the one piece that tied all together was the backdrop for the whole day…Joel’s family ranch. His mom passed away when he was a teenager and this was her dream horse ranch. Having the wedding here meant she was also there and I loved that special meaning behind the venue. It wasn’t just a meaningless venue where you can have a wedding. It was like being home. It was the perfect day and Linda Lyons pulled off the design and all the background details that made this day go so smoothly. A lot of things had to come together and go perfectly for this wedding to be successful and she made sure it all happened. They partied into the night under a tent on a horse ranch in Texas. Sounds like Heaven to me! Loved that we were there to capture it all! Leigha is a yoga goddess and a beautiful soul. Joel is her happy and silly soul mate who never ceased in making her (and me) laugh with his hilarious faces and goofy smiles. This wedding was a long time coming and it really was a celebration of this couple who has the brightest future ahead of them. So happy we got to meet! Congrats you two! So happy you love your pictures!
