I’ve been wanting to do an in home engagement session for awhile now but I needed some examples for my portfolio. Bri and Zach are one of our favorite 2017 SBC couples and willingly and excitedly agreed to model for me! I found the cutest Airbnb in Irving and rented it for the day. It was exactly what I had in my brain…they helped me bring my vision to life and I couldn’t be happier with the result!
The main reason why I love these sessions is because it’s so laid back. No pressure. It’s not about perfection. It’s about the couple and their connection. After awhile, you forget I am there and the intimacy takes over. I fade away and that love flows. That is what I love capturing! You won’t be this way forever. Young and in love. Just the two of you, building your life together. Those memories deserve to be captured because you won’t be alone for long! Life gets crazy and you grow but that young love is amazing! In fact, I want to do a session like this with my husband and we have been married 20 years now! Our love is deeper now and we may look different but that connection is still on fire! I’ll put that on my list of things to do!
I would love to offer these sessions not only for engaged couples but to newly married couples and even families who want to capture real life in their home. Those real moments that you’ll want to remember forever!
