Ania + Paul Wedding | The Grove

It was the perfect Fall day for Ania and Paul’s wedding! There is nothing better than a gorgeous Fall wedding at The Grove in Aubrey. This property is one of my favorite venues in the metroplex, mainly because of the outdoor ceremony space. But mostly because the light there is just the yummiest around! I’m not sure if it’s their trees or what but they seriously have the prettiest sunsetting light there. And I love to play in it!

One of the biggest pieces of advice I tell my couples is to make sure you plan and allow for enough time for just the two of you. I know you want to see your friends and family and party! But take 20-30 minutes and just be together after the ceremony. We will work to get through your family portraits as fast as we can but slow down during your couple portraits. These are the ones you will be framing. These are the ones you will look back on forever. These are the ones that will conjure up those feelings of love and completeness and joy. I always make sure to capture details but as you can see by my portfolio, they don’t make up a huge percentage of my work. I love people and the love they have for each other! That is where I come alive behind my camera. Styling pretty things on a board just for a Pinterest picture is not my jam. Catching you smiling at your new husband or your veil flowing in the wind, or your partner swinging you around. Those images will last a lifetime. Your children’s children will treasure them. Those are the images I love to create. And if you give me enough time, I can absolutely give you images you will treasure. Full of love and light and laughter. Full of intimacy and adoration and oneness. Full of silliness and movement and warmth.

Ania planned her day perfectly so that we had a good 30 minutes to drive around after the ceremony and spend time just the three of us. In the prettiest light of the day, Ania and Paul were just themselves together. Totally in love and beyond happy. My favorite things to capture!

The party was fun and full of just close family and friends. The sparkler exit was the perfect send off for this awesome couple into their future together! Thanks for having me out to capture your day you two!
