Allison + Scott Wedding | Hidden Creek

Their wedding day started like most of our weddings this Fall in Texas, raining! All morning, it rained. Allison’s dreams of having an outdoor ceremony at her venue looked to be doomed. Her planner was moving everything inside and they decorated everything indoors. By the time the girls were ready, the rain started moving off! She didn’t care one bit that her dress got wet. She wanted pictures outside at this beautiful venue and that is exactly what we did! We planned a first look with Scott and then spent about 30 minutes taking their romantic formals. They are some of my favorite ever! And thankfully, because the rain moved away, they moved everyone back outside and Allison was able to have the ceremony of her dreams!

Hidden Creek is out there but every venue that is far is worth it. Their ability to have a lot more space for pictures makes them so popular! Their property is surrounded by what looks like a forest full of fir trees. It’s not exactly East Texas but pretty close! I loved the walk the bride makes through the trees. So dramatic and romantic! But the star of the show was Nelson of course! Their dog was the cutest ring bearer ever and I had a hard time stopping taking pictures of him.

Their whole wedding party was awesome and they partied hard! Their school, Texas Tech won that night and that set the party off to another level! “Dos Equis time” was shouted a lot if I remember correctly. What I loved most was how Allison and Scott were never far apart the whole night. They danced, sang to each other, performed for all of their friends and family and had an epic last dance and sparkler send off. You could just tell they were better together, having fun on the best night of their lives. I am so happy we were there to capture all the fun!
